“Soldier On” is Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, short of stature and facial features twisted and dented, with very little reward or congratulatory pats on the back, created marvels while releasing angels from blocks of marble; lay upon his back for years high against a domed ceiling depicting miraculously both heaven and hell; tapped into the creative recesses of the human brain to devise futuristic inventions, bring painting to a level unheard of and sculpture to a realm beyond imagination.
